So much has happened since the last update.  Amongst a lot of releases we released the already legendary I Show You Light Now 73 track Mental Health charity compilation album with our friends The Games We Play and Rhekluse.  This was on sale on Bandcamp and will in the next few weeks be released to all the major streaming sites.

We (DarkPlay) also released Project: Life 22 track compilation album with all proceeds going to help treat sick children.

On the 5th July we (DarkPlay) held our first live event.  Future Garage legends Sorrow, Vacant, and Bucky played for us at the Haunt in Brighton.  It was an amazing evening, and after the event we all went down to Brighton beach and partied till the early hours.

We launched Dark Heart Ambient, the strictly Dark Ambient and Drone side of Dark Heart Recordings.

On Thursday evening label manager Brett had the privilege of being interviewed live on air for the Zero Point Show.  It was a lot of fun, and amazing to meet Adam and Ben in the studio.

21.04.2019 DarkPlay begins, and Sorrow, Vacant and Bucky are coming to Brighton

Yesterday was a big day for us at Dark Heart and our friends at London label The Games We Play as we joined forces to bring you the DarkPlay label.

Big things are planned including bringing Future Garage giants Sorrow, Vacant, and Bucky to Brighton on the 5th July.  Keep check on this site for more info.

Last week we welcomed the talented singer, songwriter, and musician Liebeskid to Dark Heart with the stunning ‘Love Should Be Loved Again’.  You can hear it here with Greencyde on the edit.

And today saw the release of possibly the darkest Patros15 track we’ve heard so far.

So, the last month or two has been very busy. Zenkaso, Shivell, Dmitriy Zakat, Milkomeda, and Balmy have brought great new music to the label.

Auel returned with a tribute to the label with a track named Dark Heart, Cirrus Minor dropped a great 3 track EP, Greencyde released Song for Manu dedicated to the late, great Manu Shrine, and also teamed up with Radial Flare for the uptempo A23, Olduvai released the Beyond The Veil EP featuring Archer Official, Shendo, Angelique, and Kate Rusby. Lore released the dark, futuristic Ameliorate.

In the last couple of weeks we again joined forces with The Games We Play to bring you the amazing compilation LP DarkPlay vol. 1.

A big big thank you to every artist on there, and of course The Games We Play. And thank you to Archer Official for the great video accompanying the compilation.

Today we released another great track from IWSYS called I Know.

We’ve seen some great releases this year.  Last month we saw the release of IWSYS’s Find Me on Dark Heart/The Games We Play.  And in the last few days we’ve released Patros15’s dark atmospheric Chasm, and welcomed Shakes and Eónika to the label with the beautiful sounds of ‘They Don’t Know’
